Born and raised in the Northeast, I grew up eating fresh produce out of a garden and seafood caught that day. I value farm to table culinary practices...food should be fresh and simple. I've always loved to cook, it's a creative process that uses all your senses.
My other passions are traveling and photography. I love searching out local farmers markets and food mongers in a new city. You can learn a lot about a culture through food and interacting with the locals. Regarding photography, documenting my life experiences with a camera, never gets old.
